Our Story
Our story all starts with a dog, a full-time job and an obvious necessity. We were becoming just another dog owner who complained about how difficult it was to find somewhere that we could trust for our dog to go whilst we weren’t at home. We wanted our dog to enjoy everyday. So, with a passion for ensuring that dogs deserve the best and the determination to build a dog retreat ensuring socialisation, enrichment and kindness, Speller Dog Daycare was formed.
Located in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir, Speller Dog Daycare offers a distinguished dog daycare service, situated within a picturesque, quiet, unique setting, surrounded by countryside. We will ensure that your dog is relaxed, happy and stimulated, so you can be satisfied knowing that your dog is cared for during the hours when you are unable to.

Meet Sarah & David
As two dog lovers, having grown up with dogs in the family, we thought it was time to do something that we would both enjoy. We are blessed with an excellent location and with a passion for looking after animals, we have launched Speller Dog Daycare, where we can offer your dog a home away from home with large open spaces to play and a friendly, caring atmosphere for all to thrive.
We wouldn’t want any dog to have anything but the best treatment. With qualifications in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare we can offer the highest quality of care to your dog. What Makes Us Different?
We will only accept suitable dogs: We work hard ensuring that we only have the right dogs at Speller Dog Daycare. Our Temperament Assessments are designed purely to ensure that you and your dog will suit daycare. There is no charge for this service, as we believe it is important to ensure that your dog is happy in the daycare environment. Daycare doesn’t suit every dog, for instance, if you have a shy or nervous dog, or a dog that doesn’t get on well with other animals, daycare may not be the best option for them. If, over time, your dog does not seem happy within the daycare environment, we will turn away paying customers based on protecting the dog’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
Outdoor Space: At Speller Dog Daycare, we offer more than simply a shelter for your dogs. Our secure, outdoor enclosure allows daycare dogs to frequently go outside, whether that is to relieve themselves or for enrichment activities. There is no need for us to take your dogs anywhere else. We have everything on our doorstep!
